Insurance

-
We collaborate with TLN in order to offer eligible families out-of-network insurance coverage for lactation consultation.
If you would like to find out if you qualify for insurance coverage, courtesy of The Lactation Network, you may check your coverage by following this link: check my coverage now.
If you are interested in becoming a new client at Lactation & Development Resources, the first step is to submit an Appointment Request Form.
-
We are not in-network with any insurance companies. This way, we are not limited in terms of which combination of services we can offer and how much time we can spend with our patients.
-
When crunching the numbers it becomes clear that high-quality lactation and infant feeding services generally pay for themselves relatively quickly (in cost savings):
• Producing breastmilk saves a family $300-$900 per month in formula costs.
• For families who are formula feeding, the decreased stress associated with feeding going better is well worth this cost of services.
-
We can provide patients with a receipt (superbill) to submit. While we cannot guarantee that services will be covered, some patients are reimbursed up to 100% by their Healthcare Share or Healthcare Ministry.
-
$325, Initial OT/Feeding Evaluation (1hr30min)
$195-225, OT/Feeding Therapy Session (1hr0min) -
Payment is due at the time of service. Credit card, debit card, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted.
